What makes the Melling Wildcat different from other low-volume sports cars is that you can customise it any way you want. Sure, the standard Chevrolet LS2 looks great, but the whole point of Wildcat’s simple, robust design is that it can take a wide variety of powertrains, either from new or as after-fit modifications.

Built to our customer requirements and specifications, this Wildcat 'Speedster' below is a typical example of work carried out by Al Melling Sportscars. Powered by a 640 hp Chrysler Hemi, left hand drive at no extra cost, the interior is of unique design consisting of brushed aluminium and leather. Weather protection is provided by a tonneu cover.

Al says: What you won’t find here is a long list of luxury equipment. We’ve deliberately built the Wildcat lean and light, with the accent on fantastic performance. Leather seats and a heater are of course an option, but we’d rather give you a lightweight carbonfibre bucket seat…
